yawen fu (1996, Nanjing) is an interdisciplinary artist currently living and working between the Netherlands and China. Her work take form as installation, video, sound, performance, and scenography. Centered on exploring the cultural significance of objects and symbols, she integrates biographic experiences with the modernity disturbs to construct alternative narratives. Process and site play a central role in yawen's work.
