on Y is a story of a girl who want to be a piece of A4 copy paper after 1000 years. She is an identity, a research and an atlas. Is she real? Can she be real? "Y asked me to convey these words: In the relatively short span of her twenties, she has never clearly seen herself nor remembered herself, but she has always been fortunate. She is often quiet, occasionally uttering a few nonsensical yet truthful statements, only to forget them later. When asked for her opinion, she either agrees or conceals her disagreement.
I tried to understand her through those who had interacted with her, but they always started to describe the occasion when she is there. She seems to be transparent, able to blend silently into any scene, yet you cannot find her edges. She appears in the noisy urban underground, amidst the artificial natural settings of the city, and on deserted rural roads. No one remembers her face."
